With the support of L’Estruch, Sabadell Creation Factory
uníson (unison) studies the ritual of dance and collective singing as a tool to facilitate the consolidation of a group’s identity. It is based on the hypothesis that thanks to the rhythmic movements and the songs in unison, the sense of each individual tends to dissolve in order to awaken a sense of community. The project proposes a series of workshops for teenagers where they are invited to experience the feeling of “collective body” through dynamics such as the vocalization of syllables or repetitive body movements. The aim is to try to share the same brain states in order to experience and reinforce the feeling of attunement, synchrony and unity between them.
