من خوان، ما عرفناش والو  // de juan no sabemos nada (we don’t know anything about juan) is based on a family archive of letters written during the Spanish Civil War; and on a compilation of family accounts of conflicts from around the world, created with a group of eighth grade students. The project investigates, through experimental music, how to construct a choral composition by intertwining our stories. With the desire to create a song in response to the dead, and a space for listening and tribute to our ancestors.
